Thumbs down Arab tycoon apartment owner Western Sydney, $50 million wedding included helicopter, fighter jet, street blocks + more...

This got a lot of press coverage at the time, but I don't know whether it got the attention of the alternative right or WN websites and the story should be told!
Salim Mehajer to be questioned over lavish wedding following petition calling for him to be sacked from Auburn council as deputy mayor (How did he get that job in the first place! Proof Australia is really going down hill!) He keeps getting coverage in the media with the 2nd post below about kidnapping someone at a gym!
Note: I contacted the media about this on the phone if it was a hoax? This is a 100% genuine story!

Date August 18, 2015 Kate Aubusson

Inside 'Australia's best wedding'

Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer's luxurious wedding leaves Lidcombe residents fuming.

The deputy mayor of Auburn and his new bride Aysha were "the couple willing to face the entire world, determined to cross all lines", according to their extravagant pre-wedding video for their now-infamous nuptials.
But Salim Mehajer, the "man who has it all" (the video continued) could have his life "turned upside down" all over again. Not by love, but by local government.

Auburn residents have launched an online petition calling for Salim Mehajer to be sacked over the lavish affair, which included four helicopters, a fighter jet flyover, sports cars worth $50 million, a sea-plane, and a performance by ARIA award-winning songstress Missy Higgins.
But it was the seemingly misleading flyers that had the petition's signatories calling for Mehajer to be dealt with.
Auburn councillor Irene Simms said her council colleague's action was not authorised. He had permission only for a partial road closure.
Residents of Frances Street, Lidcombe, were told on the Tuesday before the wedding in a letter-box drop that all vehicles had to be removed from the street on Saturday or they would be towed at their expense.
"The Auburn LGA community & residents call on Auburn City Council to immediately sack Deputy Mayor Salim Mehajer from the council," according to the petition launched on Sunday.
"Deputy Mayor Salim Mehajer has destroyed the credibility of Auburn Council to operate as a transparent and honest agency," it read.
The change.org petition #SackSalimMehajer had more than 3,000 signatures at 10.30pm on Monday evening. But it is unclear how many signatories were Auburn residents.
The 'Sack Salim Mehajer from Auburn Council' Facebook page had over 800 likes.
Of the hundreds of signatories who left 'reasons for signing' on the petition's webpage, a handful identified as Auburn Council residents.
The location most commenters supplied was simply 'Australia', but some were as far flung as Norfolk Island, Napier in New Zealand and Honolulu, Hawaii.
Mehajer, 29, has previously been suspended for failing to publicly disclose the full scale of his extensive property and business interests and was banned by the Division of Local Government from civic office for a month last year.

Cr Simms said she would be asking council to consider an urgent motion to address Cr Mehajer's nuptials at a council meeting on Wednesday night after numerous residents contacted her to complain about the affair.
The way residents were treated was embarrassing for the council, she said.
"A lot of people are very unhappy about the letter that was boxed to local residents, which is the biggest concern," she said.
Residents had presumed the letterbox notification was sent by council because there was no name on the document.
"It just says 'management'. There was a mobile number given [on the leaflet] and if you Google it the number is Queen Street Custom Car Hire," she said on Monday.
"One of the residents rang and was told they weren't at liberty to tell him why the road was being closed."
One of Mehajer's groomsmen, Ibrahim Azam, said everyone was happy with how the day went, including the police.
"The police were quite good – we had told everyone," Azam told News Corp.
"Salim's that type of person he likes to enjoy himself and give others that kind of experience as well."
Police closed Frances Street temporarily on Saturday over concerns for public safety after a significant number of cars, motorcycles and pedestrians spilled on to the road.
"The matter is subject to an ongoing police investigation," a NSW police spokesman said.
Mehajer told KIIS radio station he "doesn't think they've done anything wrong".

Woman who married is a White Australian traitor!

Australia’s worst Muslim Leb Import set for divorce because bride is too Aussie

August 20, 2015

It is not surprising that the deputy mayor of Sydney’s inner ethnic enclave of Auburn is Lebanese.
The Arab is a property developer on local council, selling to Chinese and Koreans, with council inside knowledge et al.
He has a massive ego. His father is a convicted fraudster.
He does this big $50 million wedding, arriving by helicopter and commandeering the local street as if he’s Auburn’s godfather.

Typical ethnic, just like in the Lebanon.

But bride April Amelia Learmonth who grew up in the suburbs of Wollongong and enrolled in the Illawarra College of Beauty Therapy is already unhappy being forced to wear the nijab, recite the Qu’ran and obey her husband.

The parents are not talking.

Just days after Salim Mehajer was returned to office 7 News can reveal he is being investigated over alleged threats to kidnap a man’s children.

Salim Mehajer accused of threatening personal trainer's family (who's son was caught in Lindt Cafe Siege another Arab incident!)

Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer allegedly threatened the family of Sydney siege survivor Joel Herat after a dispute with his father at a Burwood gym.
Mr Herat's father, Bruce Herat who works at the Anytime Fitness gym on Railway Parade as a personal trainer, was allegedly confronted by Mr Mehajer after he requested he stop dropping weights on the gym's floor.

After following Mr Herat to his car, Mr Mehajer allegedly confronted the 52-year-old, saying: "Don't you know who I am?" Channel Seven reported on Saturday night.

A spokesman for NSW Police confirmed to Fairfax Media they had received a report of an incident involving two men aged 29 and 52 where a number of threats were allegedly made on September 16.
Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
In a response to questions Mr Mehajer accused Fairfax Mediaof "silly journalism."
"In respect to the allegations I urge extreme caution in respect to any story that my [sic] be incorrect, misconceived, misconstrued or may make defamatory allegations," he said. "I reserve my rights."
It is not clear whether Mr Mehajer knew of Mr Herat senior's connection to the Lindt cafe seige.
Joel Herat escaped from the Lindt cafe siege in December 2014 after busting down the door to with fellow hostage Jarrod Hoffman and five others before two other hostages, Katrina Dawson and Tori Johnson were killed.
Mr Mehajer shot to notoriety in August after his lavish "wedding of the century" shut down an Auburn street and triggered widespread community scrutiny.
He was re-elected last week, triggering a brawl inside the Labor Party, including renewed calls for an inquiry into Auburn City Council.
