50 failing companies at risk of going out of business in 2019

Some of them may not be in the select Dow Jones 30 companies (Home Depot is), or NASDAQ's 5000. But they represent billions in lost sales. Some of these companies represent billions in revenues (Sears, JC Penny, Pier 1 Imports and Office Depot), and all failed to make a turnaround and have filed for bankruptcy. The pictures tell the story - not one customer. If they are doing badly, how will the giant retailers perform when new customers don't show up? One of the culprits - higher prices, or hyper-inflation. The real culprit - our government.
